The Gillette Fusion ProGlide

The world's leading grooming and beauty care product company, Gillette, announced a new range of products - the Gillette Fusion ProGlideTM. This new range of shaving razor blades have been introduced to define a better a level of comfort and shaving performance for men around the world, starting with the US market. Before launching the new Gillette ProGlide range of products, Gillette had known about the tug and pull of razor blades that caused shaving discomforts, and some men abstained from shaving daily to avoid the discomfort. Gillette had earlier introduced its Fusion range of products from its breakthrough technology which addressed the uncomfortable tug-and-pull of the blades and skin discomfort usually caused after the shave.

Gillette Fusion still remains as the world's best selling shaving razor, but with the new range introduced by Gillette, consumer testing revealed that Fusion ProGlide preference has gone upwards up to 2 to 1. The new range takes a step forward to offer a better quality shave with minimum discomfort to the skin during and after shaving.

Every man around the world has a different shaving ritual and habit which asks for personalised razor shaving products. Gillette's study included various shaving patterns and resulting discomfort to men during and after shaving. The new advanced range of products include advancements like new blade stabiliser, finer and thinner edged razor blades for a finer shave, and improved hair-guiding micro-comb. All these new advancements make dermatologists all over the United States recommend Gillette Fusion and its advanced product range as one of the best for men's shaving.

Gillette has existed in the shaving razor blade market for more than 100 years and has a vast heritage and experience in understanding men's grooming and skin care. In past 20 years, the company has introduced several advanced products that have enhanced the shaving experience for men. The new range of products includes:

The complete range of shaving razor blades will be available from June 2010 and Gillette will expand globally with its new range of products in the next 12-18 months.
