Making Homemade Hair Removal Sugar Kits

It is a fact that women have been able to make their own hair removal sugars for decades. This is because it is actually quite easy to make and helps save money and time. Another benefit is that the homemade sugaring solution can be used again and again until it is used up - no wastage. So, if this sounds interesting to you, here are the guidelines on how to make homemade hair removal sugaring kit.

What you will need to produce a home made sugar solution are the following:

  • 1 Lemon
  • 1 Cup of sugar
  • ¼ Cup of honey
  • 1 Bowl with lid that can be used in a microwave
  • 1 Fork
  • 1 Microwave or oven

The first thing to do to make your sugaring mixture is to divide a lemon into 2 halves; one half of the lemon will be put aside and saved for another purpose. Now take a bowl and squeeze in the lemon half to produce as much juice as possible. The bowl had better have a lid. This way we will be able to save the solution that we produce for use in the future.

The lemon juice now requires addition of a cupful of sugar; mix the juice and the sugar. We can do this with the help of a fork. What we have here now should be a rather clumpy mixture.

What we add to the mixture now is the quarter cup of honey. The ingredients should now be stirred entirely until it is smooth. We can do this with the help of fork as well, just like when we mixed the juice and the sugar before. Before the sugaring solution is heated, it is important to understand and keep in mind that we will have to reheat and stir it every time we want to use it.

The next thing we are going to do is to set the microwave. We need to set it at a high temperature to heat for only 1 minute. Depending on the various microwave brand variations, a single more minute may be necessary to heat the solution thoroughly.

Before the sugaring solution will be ready for us to use, we had better stir it once again, this time quickly. Now we want to check if the solution is pasty or runny. If it is runny, then we know that the sugar is too hot; it is at a temperature above what we can use. We need to allow it to cool down, say at least for 1 minute.

The sugar solution should become thick enough so that we can spread it onto the skin area where the sugaring hair removal treatment is required.

Those are all the steps necessary to create a homemade hair removal sugar solution. Simple isn't it? By following the above guidelines carefully enough, you will find yourself with a good quality homemade hair removal kit that can be used, not only once but can also be used again and again in the future.
