Female Labia Rejuvenation

Looking good is one of the primary goals for many people. And if it's not their primary goal it certainly comes up high on the list of other personal goals. All you need to do is look at the adverts on the TV and in magazines to see how we are all being influenced to look as good as possible.

Many women are now opting for different treatments and body rejuvenation is one of the most popular. People are asking to have improvements made to all parts of the body and the multitude of plastic surgeons are just waiting for your business.

Labia rejuvenation treatment is now becoming more popular. There are many ways to rejuvenate the labia - from surgery to less intrusive treatments. One less intrusive treatment is known as the 'Power Pac 2.1 Hair Removal and V Blush' treatment and this is done by using a laser IPL machine called SPP 2.1. The treatment has a duel effect in that it removes genital hair as well as tightens and lightens the pubic region.

This treatment can only be undertaken by women who are not shy as the process requires the female to expose their genitals to a stranger for up to an hour at a time. If you want to go ahead then it's worthwhile finding a therapist with whom you are comfortable and can minimise any embarrassment you may feel. A friendly therapist can make a huge difference in genital hair removal.

The treatment starts with trimming excess hair from the pubic area. Once the majority of the genital hair has been removed then the therapist will shave the area carefully. After the hair is shaved off a cold gel is applied liberally to prepare the area for the IPL (Intense Pulse Light) treatment. The SPP 2.1 helps to lighten the pigmentation and also reduce the freckles by using different wavelengths. This is done by breaking down the melanin in the skin and it also stops further darkening of the area. For more information on how IPL acts as a hair remover, see our IPL section.

During the session the person may experience excessive heat. If this happens, inform the therapist and they will apply more cold gel as excessive heat can be harmful. The entire process can take up to 1 hour. After the treatment all the remaining gel should be removed properly ensuring that none of it is left. You will be provided with aftercare guidance. For example, you should avoid swimming or using a sun screen lotion as these have chemicals which can cause irritation or a rash on the skin.

All things considered, the genital hair removal treatment does not take much time but you may have to go for one or two top-up sessions to catch any stubborn hairs. The pubic area should look noticeably fairer and better after the treatment is done. Just make sure that you have a good therapist who knows their job well and will take all precautions using the IPL equipment. With less effort one can get a rejuvenated and a prettier labia which your partner will love for sure.
